The burger was crispy like a smash burger should be while still being juicy. Service was friendly and prompt, and we never ran out of drinks. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their offerings. ”

“ This is a nice place and nice people! We went during the fall heritage festival so the menu was limited. I liked the pulled pork San which and the Cajun fries were good! I thought the tea needed a bit more sugar and the slaw and chicken tenders needed a bit more flavor personally. We will come back another time when they have a full menu and try a salad. Looking forward to it! ”

“ Wife and I had fried catfish for lunch 12-5-24. Best catfish I have eaten. Only topped by my uncle's fried crappie but i have to consider that when he passed at 90, he had only been catching and frying them for 70+ years. Our server (Beth) was exceptional and should be the gold standard by which servers are judged. A truly delightful experience and I can assure you we will return on a regular basis. Originally recommended by the shop keeper next door. Now we have reason to visit Cowan and not wait until we go to Food City. ”

“ Boots & Brew merged with Up In Smoke BBQ on Oct. 19th 2023. The new owner said that he’s trying to make it feel more like a restaurant with a bar versus a bar with bar food. It’s a nice local hangout spot, they offer live music and karaoke at night. Pickle fries with ranch were yummy, Nashville hot chicken tenders and fries were good but I personally like hot chicken a little more seasoned/spicier. Excited to see what they have in store for their customers. ”
